The Tengchong Beihai Wetland Folk Culture Festival in 2014 was held in the Tengchong Beihai Wetland Scenic Spot from October 1. The purpose of this cultural festival is to make extreme edge culture of Tengchong known to tourists visiting Beihai Wetland, enhance the overall tourism connotation of Tengchong tourism, combine the scenic spot with folk culture, and build the comprehensive brand of Tengchong tourism products.

       During the festival, there are 17 booths in the exhibition area, including Tengyue Sanbao, Liujiazhai Shadow Puppets, Xingyang Village Oil-paper Umbrella, Lisu Clothing, Tengchong Farmer Paintings, ethnic instruments, Fuyi Bamboo Weaving, Tengchong cloth shoes, embroidery, calligraphy and painting, jade, clay pottery and other Tengchong folk art. And a number of intermittent Tengchong folk shows held every day in the scenic spot, as well as Tengchong special food snack street, Tengchong bait, pea flour, basa, Shunjiang meat rice noodles, Mingguang small ear pig and other delicious food.
