According to the State Council Decision on Modification of "Regulations on Environmental Protection on Completion of Construction Projects” (Order of the State Council No. 682), as well as the Notice on Issuing "Interim Procedures of Acceptance of Environmental Protection upon Completion of Construction Project” (GHGHP [2017] No. 4), the contents (including acceptance investigation report and acceptance opinion) of environmental protection acceptance on completion of Tengchong Beihai Wetland Tourism Construction Project in Yunnan Province (central tourist service area and the supporting works) is hereby publicized as follows:
Name of the Project: Tengchong Beihai Wetland Tourism Construction Project in Yunnan Province (Central Tourist Service Area and Supporting Works)
Site: Shuanghai Village, Beihai Town, Tengchong
Construction unit: Tengchong Beihai Wetland Eco-tourism Investment Co., Ltd.
Construction content: Based on environmental impact assessment approval, Beihai Wetland Tourism Construction Project mainly includes seven functional areas, including area A - south entrance service area, area B - wetland landscape tour area, area C - wetland ecosystem conservation area, area D - ring lake landscape tour belt, area E - ecological landscape protection belt, area F - north entrance service area and area G - central visitor service area. Among the seven functional areas, the areas such as area C - wetland ecosystem conservation area are constructed for background construction and ecosystem conservation of tourism area, with no construction works or tourism activities. The project construction is mainly concentrated in the area A - south entrance service area, area F - north entrance service area and area G - central visitor service area. Now only area G - central visitor service area and the related supporting works are constructed in the Project,as a result, the environmental protection acceptance for completion is only for the area G - central visitor service area and the related supporting works are constructed in the Project. Other areas have not been built yet, and are not within the scope of this environmental protection acceptance for completion, which will be separately accepted for environmental protection after being completed. The central tourist service area is located in the middle of the scenic spot and the east side of the wetland ecosystem conservation area, with a total land area of 17,738.00 m2 (26.61 mu), and no water area included in this functional area. The main functions of central tourist service area are tourist reception, transfer and visit of wetland landscape. This functional area mainly consists of the viewing platforms that are arranged near the water, the public leisure square that directly accesses to the tourists reception management center. The VIP gazebo built along the wetland water area is set with viewing rooms and is to provide diversified services such as viewing, recreation and leisure. Since the north and south entrance service areas are not completed, the ticket offices, tourist information center and other supporting facilities are constructed in the central tourist service area.
